9+ FREE Bluey Find Easter Egg Party Invitation (Editable Canva)

Hi, mama and dad! There is something about an Easter egg hunt that makes kids completely forget how early it is. Tell them there are chocolate eggs hidden in the yard and suddenly everybody is wide awake at 8 in the morning. Add Bluey and Bingo to the mix, and you’ve basically created a tiny backyard adventure.

That is what I like about this invitation. It has Bluey and Bingo, colorful Easter eggs, soft pastel stripes and that cheerful “Rise and Shine” feeling. The sample invitation says “Rise and Shine for a Easter Egg Hunt Party for Brandon”, with the party at 9:00 AM.

And really, you dont need to turn this into some huge production. A few eggs, some Bluey decorations, breakfast snacks and a yard where the kids can run around is plenty. The whole idea fits Bluey pretty naturally because the show is built around imaginative games and turning ordinary family moments into little adventures.

Let’s Start With the Bluey Easter Invitation

The invitation is probably my favorite part of this design because it immediately tells you what kind of party this is. Bluey and Bingo are surrounded by Easter eggs and cheerful pastel details, while the wording feels like an invitation to get up and start the day.

I’d keep the basic idea but make the wording yours. Put your little one’s name right in the main text, then add the date, starting time and party address underneath. If you’re having the hunt in your backyard, you can even make that part of the wording with something like “Come hunt for eggs in our backyard!”

My Favorite Canva Fonts for This Party Invitation

For the main name or big party wording, I’d go with something playful and rounded. Baloo 2, Fredoka, Bubblegum Sans and Lilita One can all give you that fun kid-party feeling without making the invitation difficult to read.

For the smaller details, I’d keep things simple with Poppins, Nunito or Montserrat. Mixing one playful font with one clean font usually works better than throwing five different fonts onto one little invitation.

Since this is an Easter morning party, I’d send the invitations a little earlier than you might for a normal afternoon birthday. Parents need to know that 9:00 AM really means 9:00 AM. Nobody wants to discover that detail while standing in the kitchen looking for a missing shoe.

How to Make the Invitation Your Own

Start by changing the name on the invitation and then update the date, time and address. If the sample says Brandon but your little one is named Noah, Emma or Olivia, thats the first easy change. You can also change the wording so it feels more like your family rather than simply copying the sample.

I’d keep the Bluey and Bingo artwork and the Easter eggs because those are what make the invitation instantly recognizable. You can play around with the pastel colors too, especially if you’re using a particular color scheme for the party. Soft blue, yellow, pink, green and lavender would all work nicely here.

Before downloading, zoom in and check every single detail. Look at the date, time, address and spelling of your little one’s name. Then zoom out and make sure nothing is sitting too close to the edge. This is one of those boring little jobs that takes two minutes and can save you from discovering a typo after 30 invitations have already been printed.

How I’d Print These Bluey Invitations

I’d print these as 5 × 7 inch invitation cards. Just remember that 5 × 7 is the card size, not the envelope size. For the envelope, an A7 envelope is the usual match, measuring 5 1/4 × 7 1/4 inches and designed to hold a 5 × 7 invitation.

For the card itself, I like 250 gsm matte cardstock, which is roughly around 80 lb cover. The matte finish feels nice in your hand and keeps the pastel artwork looking soft instead of overly shiny.

Please print one test invitation first. Check the name, age if you’re including it, date, time, address, RSVP details, colors, margins and crop. Then put that test card inside an A7 envelope before ordering the rest. It sounds a little fussy, but it takes almost no time.

Simple Bluey Easter Decorations

Now we get to the fun part. I’d keep the decorations bright but not crazy. Start with pastel balloons, a few Bluey and Bingo decorations, Easter baskets and plenty of colorful plastic eggs scattered around the yard. You could make a little egg-hunting area with paper grass, pastel bunting and a simple Bluey sign.

Put a basket near the entrance for each child so they have somewhere to put their eggs. If you have a picnic table, cover it with a blue or pastel tablecloth and add a few little Easter decorations down the middle.

And dont hide every egg in impossible places. I learned this lesson the hard way with kids. One child finds an egg under a chair and suddenly everyone wants to look under the chair, while another kid is halfway inside a bush searching for something that probably doesnt exist. Keep the hunt fun, not an Olympic event.

My Final Thought

I really like this kind of party because it doesnt need to be perfect. You put some eggs in the yard, make breakfast, hang a few balloons and let the kids run around pretending they’re on some giant Bluey adventure.

And if the weather is nice, even better. You can sit back with your coffee while the kids hunt for eggs, argue over who found the most and somehow end up covered in grass five minutes later. Thats pretty much the kind of childhood memory I’d want my kids to have.

The invitation is just the beginning. The real fun is watching them turn a backyard into their own little world for a morning.

FAQ:

  • Can I edit this invitation on my phone?

Yes. Canva works smoothly on phones, tablets, and computers, so you can edit the invitation anywhere.

  • What paper works best for printing?

I personally recommend 5×7 A7 matte cardstock paper (250gsm) because it looks clean, premium, and uses less ink.

  • Should I print a test copy first?

Definitely. I usually print one black-ink-only test page first to check spacing and spelling before using colored ink.

  • Can I send the invitation digitally?

Of course. You can save it as PNG or JPG and send it through text, WhatsApp, email, or social media.
